The 2019 Winter Internship Program of Confederation of Empowerment Initiatives (CEI) with students of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay began from 2nd December, aiming to impart Hands-on Field Experience and Training on how to develop and implement Resiliency Solutions (Rural Resilience, Urban Resilience, Business Resilience, Digital Resilience etc.) that holistically empowers disadvantaged sections of society in various parts of the world.
IIT Bombay is one of the oldest Engineering College belonging to IIT University. IIT Bombay is the top Engineering College in India and was the one of the first six institutes to be awarded the ‘Institute of Eminence’ Status by Government of India in 2018. They very fact that IIT Bombay chose CEI where IIT Bombay students would undergo Winter Internship, speaks volumes about the Effectiveness of the Resiliency Solutions designed by CEI.

CEI Internship Program also facilitates creation of Resiliency & Innovation Hubs, Technology & Market Development, Leadership Development, Field-Visits helping the trainees to develop strategic thinking, connect with various challenges at Grass-Roots of the society and empower the most disenfranchised sections of our society.
CEI has team of Prominent Luminaries from Various fields like Information Technology, Judiciary, Business World etc. who are providing mentorship to these interns. On 7th December, 2019 by blessings of Param Poojaniya Gurudevji Rashtra Rishi Shri Lahiri Guruji, a Profound Internship Shivir was held in CEI Fort Office (Mumbai) under Divine Guidance of Param Poojaniya Gurumataji for Students of IIT Bombay.
Shivir was held by Adarniya Shri Madan Gosaviji (Member, Judicial, National Company Law Tribunal, Kolkata), Adarniya Shri Milind Shauche ji (Senior Technology Leader), Salil Lahiri (Shri Bhaiji) (Chief Executive Officer, CEI).
Various Field Visits have been organized subsequently by CEI for IIT Interns in which they learnt about various CEI’s Rural Entrepreneurial Initiatives and Development Programs.
For eg. on 2nd December Field visit to Nandgaon Village (Raigad District), interns observed how CEI is implementing its Last Mile Delivery Programs for the Tribals be facilitating Poverty Alleviation Programs like Distribution of Tribal Caste Certificates in Nandgaon village, Sudhagad Town (Maharashtra). They also participated in Prize Distribution to Tribal Sports Festival.
