CEI’s “Train-the-Trainer Programmes” involves Capacity Building Programmes focused on upgrading the skills of the project teams. These programmes give the trainers a hands-on experience in preparing the next course of action. We do this by giving the trainers exposure to strategic and timely decision making, methodology training, and training on communication mechanisms. These trainers go on to train other members, subsequently allowing the skillsets to be passed to a larger population. These programmes are focused on creating local leaders.
These local leaders help the organisation to execute ground work such various different project and programmes in different districts. It is not always possible for the organisation to be at that ground at that time the local leaders are very helpful.
Activities conducted under the programme are:
- Basic level Capacity-Building workshop
- Advanced Training Workshop for the members of the CEI Project Team.
- Two-day Capacity Building Workshops for team members working in Research Methodology, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship Development.
- Skill Development Workshop for specific skills
- Leadership Development Programme for CEI grassroots level officers
CEI trains youth from rural and tribal areas, students and interns in conducting a needs assessment survey, conducting surveys, understanding government schemes, programme planning, generating human resources and documentation.
