India is constantly talking about sustainability in its different forms. One of major reason of us talking about sustainability is to prevent the mother Earth from environmental damage. The Earth is over crowed and has to bear a lot for pressure than it can, adding to it the human cause so much pollution and global warming. The livestock is a major source of poisonous gases and harmful pathogens.
This makes this issue a health and environmental concern. Its proper management is an essential task that needs to be undertaken. According to a research conducted , 40% of global methane is produced by agriculture and livestock by-products.

To find a solution and to contribute in India SDG (Sustainable Development Goals such as decent work and economic growth and no poverty), along with providing means of earning to the Katkari tribe, CEI has come up with this program.
- Under this program the tribe will be creating cow dung agarbattis and cow dung logs. Both of the products are eco-friendly and sustainable.
- Cow dung is a rich source of energy and has some nutrients that can be used as fertilizer.
This program will help in holistic development of the tribes as it will provide them with sustained income and will guarantee them a safe environment.
